Advanced Energy Names Bob Garcia Account Manager

Milpitas, California (August 20, 1999) – Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: AEIS) has named Bob Garcia Account Manager for Lam Research. AE’s Western Regional Manager, Allen Vallei said, “Bob brings a wealth of industry experience and a strong sense of commitment, customer focus, and teamwork to this key position. I am very pleased to have Bob on board.”

 

Mr. Garcia will be responsible for the day-to-day account management activities associated with AE’s continued business relationship with Lam Research. Mr. Garcia has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, having served in a number of key positions with both systems and component manufacturers.

Prior to coming to Advanced Energy, Mr. Garcia was the District Sales Manager for Spectra International, a manufacturer of residual gas analyzers and optical spectrometers. Prior to that Mr. Garcia spent more than seven years with MKS Instruments as a Regional Applications Manager as well as District Sales Manager. He also spent a number of years with the Temescal division of Edwards High Vacuum International as Technical Support Manager.
