Advanced Energy Names Human Resources VP

March 24, 1999 — Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (AE), has named Monica Moloney vice president of human resources. In announcing the new appointment, AE’s COO Hollis Caswell commented, “As a result of our recent acquisitions, our human resources (HR) responsibilities have increased substantially. Monica has done an excellent job of integrating our HR activities and addressing HR considerations across our various locations. This promotion is in recognition of these accomplishments and her increased responsibilities.”

 

Moloney now has direct responsibility for all human resources functions at AE’s offices in Colorado, California, New Jersey, Texas, and Minnesota. Upon the announcement of her promotion, Moloney said, “It’s been a pleasure to work with the terrific people at AE. I look forward to continually improving the quality of AE’s work environment and benefits to make AE an employer of choice in all our locations.”

Before joining AE in 1991, Moloney served as HR Manager at TRW Electronic Products, Inc., in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

In September 1998, AE acquired Fourth State technology, Inc. (FST) a privately held process control company in Austin, Tex. In October 1998, AE acquired RF Power Product, Inc. (RFPP). RFPP design s and manufactures radio frequency (RF) power systems, matching networks, and peripheral systems.
