Advanced Energy To Expand High Power Manufacturing

FEBRUARY 22, 1999 — Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (AE), announces that it is shifting manufacturing of its high power products used in industrial applications from Fort Collins, Colo., to Voorhees, N.J. These products include power supplies larger than 100 kilowatts, as well as arc-suppression products.

 

These products are currently manufactured in AE’s Fort Collins plant. Because AE’s facility in Voorhees has the required capacity available, AE plans to move high power manufacturing to New Jersey in the spring of 1999. Engineering and program management for these products will remain in Fort Collins, for the foreseeable future.
