Advanced Energy Names Monica DeMarco Divisional Vice President of New Jersey Operations Engineering

Voorhees, New Jersey (November 22, 2000)—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) named Monica DeMarco Divisional Vice President of Operations Engineering for AE's plant in Voorhees, New Jersey. Ms. DeMarco has responsibility for manufacturing engineering, test engineering as well as site- related activities in compliance and component engineering. In addition, she has responsibility for quality functions including maintaining the ISO 9001 registered quality system and overseeing supplier quality practices.

Ms. DeMarco brings 14 years of manufacturing engineering and quality engineering experience to her new position. She joined AE with the October 1998, merger of AE and RF Power Products (RFPP), where she was Director of Quality.
