Metzingen, Germany, Oct. 14, 2014—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGM:AEIS) will showcase its newest three-phase string inverters, the AE 3TL 40/46 series, at Solar Energy UK, booth #E34 this week in Birmingham. Designed for maximum efficiency and yield, the AE 3TL series is well-suited for commercial rooftop and carport installations, as well as large-scale solar parks—and offers full monitoring and control to increase project yield for solar installers, site designers and project developers.
"With more than 6.5 GW installed globally to date, Advanced Energy knows that efficiency means achieving more with less. For solar applications, it means lowering investment costs for systems while obtaining appealing system returns.” said Jason Nicholls, U.K. country manager at Advanced Energy. "At Solar Energy UK 2014, Advanced Energy will present our high-performance inverters which realise this principle of efficiency: AE 3TL string inverters with output power of 40 kW and 46 kW. Only half as many units as before must be installed per megawatt, reducing time and materials costs.”
The reliable AE 3TL 8-23 and AE 3TL 40/46 three phase string inverters offer peak efficiency up to 98.7 percent and versatile data monitoring options. They can be easily installed in a distributed architecture throughout a solar array to save space and increase project yield. The power range of the AE 3TL is 8.25 to 46 kW, serving commercial installations both large and small.
In addition to the AE 3TL series, Advanced Energy will showcase its PV Heater accessory, an off-grid DC-only system designed to generate efficient heat for everyone in their home via just six solar panels. It uses electricity supplied by solar panels via three MPP (maximum power point) trackers and heats domestic hot water with three heating elements in the home's hot water tank. The PV Heater can save up to 60 percent of the heating energy used for water heating, with an efficiency of nearly 99 percent. In other words, nearly all the energy that the solar panels supply to the PV Heater is transferred to the heating circuit of a home in the form of heat.
Advanced Energy will showcase its AE3TL string inverter technology at Solar Energy UK in our partner Siebert Solar’s booth (#E34), October 14 to 16, at the NEC in Birmingham.
