Company recognized for marketing excellence in corporate branding at the 2012 Business Marketing Association awards program
FORT COLLINS, Colo., May 7, 2012—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGM: AEIS) today announced it has received a 2012 Silver Key Award from the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association for its corporate brand campaign. The recognition took place at the annual Gold Key Awards gala Friday, May 4, 2012, at The Denver Art Museum.
Advanced Energy updated its corporate brand platform with a new tag line, enhanced messaging, and a bold look and feel to ensure a consistent brand experience across two highly differentiated markets—thin films and solar energy. The brand campaign sharpens the company’s worldwide image both visually and verbally while maintaining its heritage of focus and technology leadership in power conversion.
“Over the past 30 years, AE has built a strong brand that is recognized for leadership and innovation,” said Jim Guilmart, Vice President of Marketing. “Our research revealed that the existing AE logo is a globally recognizable symbol of our company, its products, and its services in the marketplace. This brand evolution confidently emphasizes the AE logo in a new way with a new tag line—A Powerful Advantage™—underscoring the core value to our customers. Online analytics and customer testimonials, along with this award, already substantiate the success of this campaign.”
The Gold Key Awards is recognized as Colorado’s most prestigious competition dedicated solely to business-to-business marketing communications. This year’s program had 160 entries from Colorado’s top B2B businesses and agencies. Entries were reviewed by a panel of seven independent judges from across the country representing agency and corporate marketing professionals.
“The BMA Board of Directors extends our congratulations to the winners of this year’s awards program. It is a fiercely competitive program that truly recognizes the very best in business-to-business marketing for 2012,” says Marilee Yorchak, CAE, Executive Director, Colorado Business Marketing Association. “With our emphasis on results and the quality of entries, the BMA Gold Key Awards is one of the most coveted by marketers in Colorado.”
AE partnered with three northern Colorado firms in carrying out its brand effort. Posit Partners of Denver provided audience research, strategic messaging, and tagline development; Burns Marketing Communications of Johnstown assisted with creative services; and NextView, Inc., of Fort Collins developed the Advanced Energy website and other digital solutions.
