Advanced Energy^® Strengthens Taiwan Presence and Extends Global Support Capabilities With Launch of Taiwan-Centric Website

Traditional Chinese-language website offers tailored content to registered users, enabling two-way, on-line communications with customers on an opt-in basis

Taipei, Taiwan, May 29, 2007—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGM: AEIS) today announced the launch of its newest customer resource, a Taiwan-specific website written in Traditional Chinese. The new site, www.advanced-energy.com.tw, helps customers find up-to-the-minute product, support, applications and corporate information from Advanced Energy. Driven by analytics and best practices, the site includes exclusive content for registered users. The Taiwan site marks another step in a corporate-wide program to upgrade web-based content, projects and services to AE^®’s customers worldwide.

Taiwan customers can register on the new website and subsequently opt-in via e-mail to receive targeted content. Customers who opted-in via AE’s English-language site received the Sputter SpotlightSM e-newsletter earlier this year. This June, AE will send its new Flat Panel Display FocusSM e-newsletter to registered users around the world. In addition to application-specific newsletters, registered users can also subscribe to product demonstrations and technology and market-specific announcements.

To fulfill its promise to upgrade web-based content and services to customers worldwide, AE plans to upgrade its Japanese-language and German-language websites this year, as well as to launch Korean-language and Simplified Chinese-language sites.
