Advanced Energy Expands Manufacturing with a New Building in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, CO (February 15, 2000) -- Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: AEIS) today announced it plans to build a new building on the Advanced Energy Fort Collins campus. The building will be approximately 63,000 square feet and will provide for the growth in manufacturing, global support, and advanced manufacturing required for Advanced Energy's growing business in providing power supplies used in the manufacturing processes for some of today's fastest growing industries, including semiconductors, entertainment and computer data storage, and flat panel displays. The new building will be leased and located on vacant space adjacent to existing facilities on Advanced Energy's current campus. The building program is expected to take approximately eight months. Groundbreaking is planned to occur in about three months, and the building should be completed by November.
