Advanced Energy's Tower Electronics Names Howard Ellberger Director of Sales and Marketing

Voorhees, New Jersey (November 15, 2000)—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) subsidiary Tower Electronics, Inc. has named Howard Ellberger Director of Sales and Marketing for Tower Electronics in Voorhees, New Jersey. Mr. Ellberger has responsibility for all of Tower's strategic and tactical marketing and sales activities. In announcing the new appointment, AE Vice President Chris Fergen, Tower's General Manager, said, "Howard brings the experience and expertise we need to refocus our efforts in the semiconductor, telecommunications, medical, and industrial markets."

 

Mr. Ellberger's immediate task is to establish and grow Tower's direct and representative sales forces for custom power supplies across North America, Asia, and Europe. His longer-term responsibility will be to develop Tower's strategic global marketing plans.

Mr. Ellberger brings 25 years of high technology and professional sales experience. Before joining Tower Electronics, Mr. Ellberger worked in sales and marketing with Hewlett Packard and Agilent in test and measurement equipment.
