Munich, Germany, June 9, 2015—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:AEIS), a leader in precision power conversion solutions, will showcase its global string inverter platform for commercial PV systems this week at Intersolar Europe 2015. The company will highlight its IEC and JP string inverter models for Europe and Asia, as well as its North American UL models—including its newest 48 kW UL product. The complete AE 3TL suite, designed for maximum efficiency and yield, is well-suited for commercial rooftop and carport installations, as well as large-scale solar parks, and offers full monitoring and control capabilities for solar installers, site designers and project developers.
The reliable AE 3TL platform, available in output classes ranging from 8.25 to 48 kW, offers peak efficiency up to 98.7% and can be easily installed in a distributed architecture throughout a solar array to save space and increase project yield. The new, 1000 VDC, 48 kW UL model features 98.0% peak efficiency, 97.8% CEC-weighted efficiency and an unprecedented 1.55 DC:AC ratio. In addition, it is fully compliant to NEC 2011 and NEC 2014 standards.
“AE continues to listen and respond to our customers’ needs,” said Norbert Apfel, senior vice president, inverter products. “The development and introduction of the 48 kW UL string inverter was in response to a strong customer demand for a UL product between the existing 8-23 kW string inverters and the larger central inverters up to 1100 kW. Like the 40/46 IEC model, this new UL model is easy to install and reliable during operation.”
Advanced Energy supplies PV inverters, accessories and services for commercial PV systems and large PV power plants. Its products range from three-phase string inverters to large central inverters. The company’s solar product portfolio also includes AE SiteLink PV monitoring, control units for PV systems as well as professional communication, connecting and terminal equipment.
The Intersolar Europe exhibition will take place at the ICM – International Congress Center, June 9-10, in Munich. Advanced Energy will display its AE3TL string inverter technology, along with its PV accessory products and monitoring and control solutions, in Hall B2, stand number 130.
