Advanced Energy Industries Appoints New Vice President of Sales

FORT COLLINS, Colorado (April 2, 1998)—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:AEIS) today announced the hiring of James R. Gordley, a 21-year sales veteran, to the position of Vice President of Sales.

 

Mr. Gordley, 47, was formerly Vice President and Director of Sales, Thermal Products Group at Semitool, Inc., a position he held for four years. Semitool, Inc. is a maker of semiconductor equipment and other electronic devices, located in Kalispell, Montana. In this position, Mr. Gordley guided Semitool through significant sales growth, and was one of the company’s top salespersons. Prior to that, and for five years, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Semitool.

Mr. Gordley held a variety of sales and marketing positions for 12 years at 3M Corporation, where he was also recognized for an exemplary sales record.
